๐ŸŒŠ Divvy – Flo

Divvy’s been getting all the love from Reddit lately. Well grown, classic beloved strains, with great production, and most importantly to Reddit a price that’s right. Simply put it’s all you could want from the budget category, meeting every expectation of the value-focused customer by staying true to what they do and not getting fancy with it.

Flo is an amazing representation of this. The genetics are simple crossing classic landrace genetics of Afghan and Purple Thai. Tried and true, the strain won the Cannabis Cup back in 1996! It was notable at the time for its impressive yields and ability to harvest multiple times. Divvy’s cut is much improved from those 1996 pics, showing off rock-hard nugs and a very dense structure. This allows the trim to be amazing, despite its price point, and for at least the insides of the bud to remain fresh. The smell is strong, not just for the price, but in general. Waves of super tart Granny Smiths as the terpinolene completely takes over the nose. On the back end is a slight sweetness that makes sure the citrus notes skew towards a fruity vibe rather than skunk-like in a haze.

The effects here are light and gentle, without the rush normally associated with a smell this citrusy, mainly due to the lack of limonene. The result is very in line with its landrace genetics. It felt more even, without the spikes and dips in either the high or energy that comes with many modern strains. It’s great to wake and bake on days you want to keep things light. Or to clear the mind for meditation, requiring introspection while still being able to focus. Due to its potency, and my tolerance, I ended up using it most to carry my hash and other concentrates that I enjoy without a dab rig. It’s a big step up from Shred, and not much more expensive. It’s also become a top recommendation for casuals looking to not feel sleepy but who are also wary of the anxiety-inducing effects of some more energetic bud. It tastes great and is much lighter on the throat than anything else I’ve tried at the price.

Overall, Divvy is kinda killing it. Staying very budget-friendly without sacrificing quality in the places it matters. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿˆน๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜œ
